The First Major Tropical Storm of the Season.

Florida and much of the East Coast are preparing for what appears to be the first major tropical storm of the season, known as "Arthur", so Arthur Spooner from the King of Queens and Arthur Read from the PBS show, Arthur get their own very own hurricane, ha-ha. But this is no laughing matter, this storm should track right across the eastern half of North Carolina on Friday just in time for 4th of July festivities in that area. According to the National Hurricane Center, this storm should be expected to become a Hurricane by 2 PM Thursday afternoon. GFS Models showing that the storm should make landfall in North Carolina by Friday Morning, however some feeder bands of Arthur could reach South Carolina as early as Thursday night. At this time it should remain offshore away from NYC, however it is possible for some high waves to reach NYC Shores. TWNS will be active throughout the next few days because of #TropicalStormArthur. We will keep YOU informed, ahead of the Storm.
