Potentially Significant Weather Event coming up in the next few days

Well it IS that time of the year, Severe Weather Season! And there IS a potential for a significant severe weather event in the making. Right now, SPC has posted Slight Risks for the next couple of days for much of the Midwest and the southeast. Right at the moment there is no moderate or high risks in effect, but that doesn't mean there won't be any in the next few days. Latest GFS Models showing that the severe weather may start as early as noon tomorrow across Nebraska and Kansas. Then strengthening on Thursday for much of the Midwest states. This heavy band of storms will push off to the east. Our Weather Office will be "all hands on deck" for the next couple of days until this severe weather is over. Stay tuned to TWNS, we'll keep YOU informed ahead of the storm.
