SPC issues Moderate Risk for Tomorrow/Long Track Squall Line Event for Next Week

Couple days ago, we told you there would be a severe weather outbreak for portions of the Midwest. And now we are expecting a significant severe weather outbreak for Mother's Day! Mother's Day ain't going to be pretty if you live in Kansas to Iowa, as SPC has issued a Moderate Risk for Central KS, Southeast NE, Northwest MO, and Southwest IA. I am quoting the SPC...."SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK WITH MANY TORNADOES AND VERY LARGE HAIL
POSSIBLE SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT ACROSS PARTS OF THE CENTRAL PLAINS
AND MID MISSOURI VALLEY. SEVERE STORMS WILL ALSO BE LIKELY IN THE
SOUTHERN PLAINS." Yes you heard me, MANY tornadoes possible and Very Large Hail. This is something to watch out for. TWNS, will be fully staffed with LIVE Continuous coverage all day tomorrow with Hourly radar updates, expert analysis, and reports from chasers. Another Major story we are following for you is a potentially multi day squall line event for much of the Midwest. Latest GFS Models showing that this squall line event will start on Tuesday and stretch from Texas to Wisconsin and progress eastward. What's funny about this story is that the squall line is "cycling" meaning it is strengthening and weakening as it pushes eastward. It will start on Tuesday and end on Thursday of Next week.
